Wim Hof Method explained

Three pillars. A journey back to yourself.

Wim Hof, affectionately known as “The Iceman,” is the Dutch adventurer behind the Wim Hof Method, whose lifelong connection with nature inspired his exploration of breath, cold and mindset. Beyond his extraordinary feats, his message is deeply human: an invitation to reconnect with ourselves and discover what we’re capable of.

Developed by Wim, the method brings together breathing, cold exposure and mindset. At Ice Breath Mind Luxembourg, we approach it with curiosity and care: not as a test of endurance, but as an invitation to reconnect with yourself.

Reconnect

Breath

Guided breathing brings your attention inward: a space to notice your body and explore the experience of being present. Several techniques are taught, depending on the goals we want to achieve.

Meet the moment

Cold

Gradual, supported cold exposure invites you to encounter an unfamiliar challenge, listening to your body rather than competing or pushing through. We teach you to let go and surrender.

Show up for yourself

Mindset

Focus, intention and commitment weave the practice together. It’s about approaching each experience with an open mind, and carrying that curiosity into everyday life. We use coaching to support your journey.

Find your people

The Tribe

The journey doesn’t have to end when the workshop does. Our vision is a community where shared experiences become conversations, encouragement and connection. Come for the practice. Stay for the people.

Your wellbeing comes first. Suitability screening and appropriate guidance matter. Never practise Wim Hof breathing in or near water. Always practise seated or lying down.
